Professional Graduate Courses

Professional Courses in Computer Science

The Computer Science Department is offering two graduate-level professional courses for Fall 2005. These courses will emphasize practical knowledge that you can apply in your professional life, not just theory.

Click here for descriptions of these courses.

Anyone interested in taking one or more of these courses must apply to the Graduate School as a non-degree student. To do this, you need to submit one of the the following to the graduate school, depending upon your status:

If you are NOT known to MSU, you need to submit an application form (MS Word/PDF) to the Graduate School.  On page A-3 of the application, check off General Non-Degree.  You will also have to submit an official transcript indicating receipt of an undergraduate or graduate degree, and a  $60.00 non-refundable application fee.

If you are known to MSU, i.e., you have already applied for graduate admission, submit a pre-admit status request form .  Check off Computer Science. Click here for more information about pre-admit status from the Graduate School web site.

Seeking non-degree admission (also called pre-admit status) does not commit you to continuing your graduate studies.  However, only six credits taken as a non-degree student can be applied towards a M.S. in Computer Science.

Please inform the Graduate Advisor, Dr. Benham  (benhamj@mail.montclair.edu or 973-655-4166), of your intentions so that we can track and expedite your application.
